OakNest Care Ltd provides nurse-led home care across West Lothian & Edinburgh. For any question about your information, contact info@oaknestcare.co.uk or call 07471 698416.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, location or postcode, the type of care you are asking about, your preferred start, and your message.
Because this is a care service, your message may describe someone’s health. Health information is “special category” data under UK GDPR and is treated with corresponding care. Please keep detailed medical information out of the form — we can discuss that by phone instead.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Your details are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange care. The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. For any health information you include, the additional condition relied on is that processing is necessary for the provision of health or social care.
What happens to it
Enquiries are sent directly to our email inbox. This website does not store your enquiry in any database. It is not used for marketing, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Email delivery is handled by our email provider acting on our instructions. The website is hosted on a private server in the United Kingdom, and all traffic is encrypted with TLS.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to care are deleted from our inbox within 12 months. Where care is provided, care records are kept in line with professional nursing record-keeping obligations, and are covered by our client privacy notice rather than this website policy.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Nothing follows you around the internet as a result of visiting it.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent at any time, or object to how it is used. Email info@oaknestcare.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Before launch: this policy needs the company’s registered address and ICO registration number added, and should be checked by a solicitor. It is drafted to describe accurately what the site does today.
